The latest Henley Passport Index for 2025 reveals Singapore retains its position as the world's most powerful passport, granting visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 193 destinations. Asian countries, particularly Japan and South Korea, dominate the top spots, while traditional leaders like the US and UK continue to fall in the rankings. India made the most significant jump, climbing eight places to 77th, now offering its citizens visa-free access to 59 countries. The UAE also surged to 8th place, reflecting shifting global mobility trends. The rankings highlight the growing influence of Asian nations in global travel freedom, while Western passports lose ground.
